WAISTED Shipping Policy

At WAISTED, every waist bead set is handcrafted with care, intention, and attention to detail. Because each piece is made custom to order, our shipping timeline reflects the time needed to create your jewelry with the quality you expect.


Processing Time

All items are made to order. Please allow 5–7 business days for your order to be created before it ships.

This processing window ensures:

  • Accurate beadwork

  • Secure tying or clasp assembly

  • Quality checks before packaging


Shipping Method

All orders are shipped via USPS from Florida, USA. Shipping speed depends on the method selected at checkout.


Shipping Confirmation

Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation that includes:

  • Your tracking number

  • Estimated delivery timeframe

If you don’t see the email, check your spam or promotions folder.


Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. WAISTED is not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.


Lost or Delayed Packages

Once your package is in USPS’s possession, delivery times may vary. If your package is delayed, lost, or marked delivered but not received, please contact USPS for assistance.


WAISTED Return & Exchange Policy

 

All sales are final.  Because each set of waist beads is handcrafted and made to order, we do not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges once an order has been placed.

Exceptions

We will gladly review a return or exchange request only under the following circumstances:

1. Error on the part of WAISTED

If you receive an item that is incorrect due to a mistake made by our business (such as wrong color, wrong style, or wrong clasp type), we will remake or replace the item at no cost to you.

  • Errors must be reported within 3 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn and in original condition.

2. Conditional Damages (Case‑by‑Case Review)

If your waist beads arrive damaged due to shipping or other unexpected issues, we will evaluate the situation and determine whether a refund, repair, or replacement is appropriate.

  • Decisions are made at the sole discretion of WAISTED.

  • Photos of the damage are required within 48 hours of delivery.

Non‑Eligible Situations

The following do not qualify for refunds or exchanges:

  • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer

  • Wear‑and‑tear, stretching, or breakage after use

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Damage caused by improper handling or tying

Measurement Responsibility

For barrel‑clasp waist beads, customers must provide their exact waist measurement. WAISTED is not responsible for fit issues resulting from incorrect measurements.

Your waist beads are handcrafted with intention, beauty, and durability. To keep them looking their best and fitting comfortably, follow these simple care and wearing guidelines.


How to Care for Your Waist Beads

  • Avoid excessive pulling or tugging. Waist beads are strong, but they’re still jewelry.

  • Keep away from harsh chemicals. Perfumes, lotions, oils, and chlorine can weaken the string over time.

  • Shower‑safe (if tie‑on). Tie‑on strands can be worn in the shower, but pat them dry afterward.

  • Remove clasped strands before bathing or swimming to extend their lifespan.

  • Store safely. When not wearing clasped beads, keep them in a soft pouch or jewelry box to prevent tangling.


How to Tie Traditional Tie‑On Waist Beads

Follow these steps for a secure, comfortable fit:

  1. Wrap the strand around your waist at your desired placement (high, mid, or low).

  2. Slide the beads away from the ends so you have 4–6 inches of bare string on each side.

  3. Cross the strings tightly and tie a double knot.

  4. Tie 2–3 additional knots to lock it in place.

  5. Trim the excess string close to the knot (but not too close).

  6. Roll the beads over the knot to hide it inside the strand.

Your beads should feel snug but not tight — you should be able to breathe, bend, and sit comfortably.
